Mostly the daytime TV schedule was rubbish but I caught a couple of good programs including Fred Dibnah's Building of Britain. The third episode in the series was The Age of the Carpenter and was all about the wooden buildings of the late medieval through to Tudor times. Definitely worth watching if you get a chance.BigLeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00960213980906190335noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6397250603826942614.post-52764324218420610472011-05-10T08:33:49.625-07:002011-05-10T08:33:49.625-07:00To Logan,

I would like to see the back of some of these historic buildings - they can sometimes be more interesting that the front.

TonyTonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06167770417289351340noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6397250603826942614.post-73677366092539288582011-05-10T07:53:43.661-07:002011-05-10T07:53:43.661-07:00It's nice and quaint but must be a nightmare t...It's nice and quaint but must be a nightmare to maintain, grade 2 listed? The Angry Lurkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01227314379603418332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6397250603826942614.post-38879719525328642502011-05-10T07:09:09.860-07:002011-05-10T07:09:09.860-07:00That was a surprise to see on the random "Nex...That was a surprise to see on the random "Next Blog" thing -- I live in Bewdley, so this is a very familiar building to me. Worth noting re Bewdley Museum that a) it's free, and b) if you go right through to the back you come out in Jubilee Gardens, which among other things gives you a decent view of the backs of quite a few of the houses in High Street and so on.Loganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03769758118827489093noreply@blogger.com
