A little unusual for me, but I started painting with the metallic areas. First a Chainmail colour drybrushed on to most of the figure and then a lighter and more defined silver drybrush before the gold areas were pained with a fine brush. The whole model was later 'washed' with a mix of sepia and black wash.
The flesh areas were built-up over a light brown and pale flash base before being highlighted with lighter colours and again washed with a sepia/black wash.
I always find, that once the flash areas and in particular the faces have been painted - the models has a character and painting proceeds much quicker.
Stay safe and
Keep Calm and Carry On Modelling
