The flesh areas were built-up in the same way as the earlier Boche, basically building up lighter tones and colours over a dark base. I like to tidy-up the black or black/dark brown areas as I go along and you can see this with this mini.
The robe was painted to match pale linen and again built up with a dark base and layers of highlighting.
The headgear was painted to represent a young stag.
While the scythe was painted as aged wood, allowing some of the dark brown basecoat to show through in the shadows.
