In an earlier post, I detailed some Magic Wands that I had made for my grandson's, but they are also interested in Dinosaurs and Dragons.
Today's post shows a plaque I made for Finley which has a Copper Dragon's Scale and a Talon.
The scale was hammered and polished before being mounted.
While the Talon was was simply glued in place and labelled.
They were great fun to make; The scale is a piece of crushed copper U bend that I picked up of the road and the talon was sculpted from a piece of blue foam before being clad with paper mache and modelling compound. Inspiration came from a children's illustrated book called DRAGONWORLD, Secrets of the Dragon Domain by S. A. Caldwell.
