Old Photos - part two

Following on from yesterdays post, I climbed into the attic and retrieved these images of the work-in-progress on the Narrow Gauge Steam Crane.

Image One shows the chassis constructed from plastic card, while Image Two shows the Steam Donkey or engine

Image Three, another photo of the engine and workings that are in the main hidden when the cab is in place. All of the steam working gear is scratch built, following an original engine found in an American Narrow Gauge Railway magazine.

Image Four shows the main beam also scratch-built from plastic card.

Finally for now, we have the last image - the bare model prior to painting.

I think that these atmospheric black and white images, taken from 35mm snaps show how much work went into this little model.
