The Dampfpanzerwagon DPW IX.
This particular model has been sitting on my workbench for years. I thought it was about time I painted it.
I started the painting last night, adding some Forest Green over a drybrushing of Dwarf Bronze and Shinning Gold.
The detail painting was done earlier today and to finish it off I added the MOCKBA decal, a spare I had in my decal folder.
I am sure I have some work-in-progress images somewhere and if I can find them, I'll post them at a later date.
The Steam Tank was scratch-built as an addition to my Flintloque collection, the forward body and wooden-covered steam boiler are plastic card over a cardboard former. detail is from my spares box (for example; button wheels, plastic tube turret and the funnel is a plastic straw with a 'Biro' pen topper). The commander is a modified Flintloque Troll with a bicorne. I have included a couple of painted Trolls to give an idea of scale.
The model was inspired by the Epic scale/Warmaster steam wagon.
I hope you like it.
