The latest issue of Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy includes another terrain making article written by me. Making Newgrange shows how I scratch-built a model based on the Newgrange Stone Age (Neolithic) mound in Ireland. For full details of this interesting structure see this link.
The model was built from a lump of 50mm thick insulation foam and self-hardening clay. The article covers two pages with lots of work-in-progress images as well as details of how I had to repair some mistakes and mishaps that occurred during construction.
