I think it is obvious how the painting has progressed since the last post. I have spent some time 'blending-in' the flesh highlights and toning-down those 'rosy cheeks'.
The beard was first painted mid grey before being highlighted with Titanium White and the pointy hat has been painted red/orange.
I choose to paint the cardigan in a mid blue colour and highlight the ribs with a lighter blue.
An internet search found that this particular Gnome is still available and can be bought from K's Statuary in the United States, see this link for more details.
Hopefully not too much to go now.
