Staying with the theme of painting one mini at a time, I have painted up these two Revenent Elves From Foundry. The two minis are part of a range that I believe were sculpted by Mark Copplestone, but I'm not sure they are still available, but can occasionally be found on E-bay. They are mounted onto 40mm Games Workshop bases and painted with acrylics. The image below show my collection of six painted miniatures.
I am not sure what they would ever be used for, but they are beautiful sculpts and deserve to be painted up rather than languishing on the Lead Mountain.
