Flintloque/Silver Bayonet cross over - part thirty one

Another 'spares box' discovery. This time a plastic Owlbear miniature - I think from a Dungeons and Dragons play set and painted as a snowy owl.

The miniature was mounted on to a wooden disc with the groundwork built up from DAS then further textured with sieves stones and sand applied over PVA glue. I have also gloss varnished the model as I think this helps the acrylic paint to adhere better.

The final images shows the DnD Owlbear alongside a Flintloque RifleOrc for comparison. I'm not sure how I'll be using the finished Owlbear in my Flintloque/Silver Bayonet games, but enjoyed painting it.
