I'm hoping for a little help. As many readers and followers will know I have been scratch building models for the wargame table for some time and then writing tutorials or articles in various magazines but I am now looking for some new and fresh inspiration as to what I should model next. I already have a number of articles with the editor or Miniature Wargames but am looking to produce something original for later in the year. Have you got any suggestions?
The more original or 'off the wall' the better as I am looking for a challenge.
Thank you in advance
Tony

How about some of the houses in the village Asterix & Oblex come from?
On a Middle Eastern theme, what about a form of caravanserai? I know some could be large, but a small one could be interesting. On a Roman slant this would be a mansio for the imperial post. A small Egyptian temple could also be cross period. Tim
Historical:
1920's downtown buildings
Early North American settler forts
West African fortifications, rammed mud walls etc.
Hyper specific buildings, how to use public photographs and plans etc., but still make something playable.
Mesoamerican city terrain
Māori fortifications
Sci-fi
Near future Tokyo [Concrete buildings with loads of heat pumps, added wires, and neon]
Trek-esque smooth curved buildings
Quar termite mound farm buildings
Oily dark space ship interior hallways
Fantasy
Conversion of strictly historical buildings to fantasy a la Edoras or Game of thrones [i.e. take some of your older buildings and add extra decoration, or "anti-dragon" spikes etc.]
Greek god styled buildings, "fantastical" because of their use of lurid historical colors and dress for statues etc.
Rickety wattle and daub city buildings
Afro-Fantasy city
Thank you for the comments. I will certainly take them in to account when planning future models.
