One Mini at a Time - part twenty



Painting started with the flesh areas and as usual this was built-up over a Snakebite Leather colour with both flesh and white added for the highlights. I hadn't noticed when painting this figure just how brown the basecoat was. My normal basecoat is a lot darker - more black.


Uniform colours were similar to the earlier minis, blue jacket, linen or white trousers and the odd touch of red.


The final image shows most of the painting finished, I just have to varnish and decorate the base and it will be ready to add to the rest of the boarding party.
