Here is my terrain piece for November, a small section of wicker or wattle fencing. The fencing was a broken resin casting that I cut into two sections and mounted them between three toffee apple stick uprights. The groundwork was built up with DAS modelling clay and further textured with sieved stones and sand over uPVA glue.
Painting was built up over a dark brown undercoat with most of the detailing being highlighted with successive drybrushing. The groundwork was painted in my usual colour and style before being varnished and then 'flocked'. The final image shows the model prior to painting.
I believe the model is a great example of not throwing anything away, the damaged resin casting was saved from the rubbish bin and is now a novel addition to my ever growing terrain collection.
